• Me: Hey wassup? Been a while. Whats the latest?
  • Friend: Am cool. Yeah long time. I am learning RoR.
  • Me: Great. how is it coming?
  • Friend: Cool. Its the language of the future.
  • Me: Really every language claims to be.
  • Friend: Ruby is different.
  • Me: Really? What is the grand difference?
  • Friend: it is Ruby :D
  • The above made me remember when Java was the all and all. Though Ruby is great I am thinking how long will it last?

I just published the GTBank chrome app i made earlier to the Chrome Web Store. (I should have done that earlier but i’ve been quite busy). So you can access your internet banking account with just one click.

If you use Google Chrome, click here to install the app. And if you find it useful, don’t forget to rate.

"A 19-year-old Egyptian university student called Aisha Mustafa has invented a propulsion device intended to offer spacecrafts a new method and cheaper means of energy consumption. The propulsion device promises chances of using quantum physics and chemical reactions in artificial satellites, instead of the current radioactive-based jets and ordinary rocket engines. Mustafa’s device is based on a scientific mix between quantum physics, space technology, chemical reactions and electrical sciences. Mustafa said the inventions generates energy for space vehicles from electric energy formed by Casimir-polder force, which occurs between separate surfaces and objects in a vacuum and by the zero-point energy considered as the lowest state of energy."

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket launched early this morning from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, carrying what could be the first commercial spacecraft to visit the International Space Station.

My Monday didn’t turn out to be that awesome as expected. It started with first my laptop’s hard disk crashing last weekend. I thought it would be easy to restore. The hard disk went bad too far and now I have lost a lot of data from personal to official documents. I was given another laptop to work with and spent the whole day trying to set it up with Visual Studio, SQL Server and lots more. With project deadline fast approaching I can simply count my Monday gone. Now four days left to work a miracle.

One lesson I have learnt is not to depend solely on your hardware. With cloud services like DropBox it has become highly important to always include cloud storage as one of your backup options.

This is going to be fun to watch.

As a reminder, this is Google spending $12.5 billion in what, patents aside, seems like an awful deal
